5 REASONS WHY YOU SHOULD START A BLOG
This post shall give you enough reasons to start your own blog. Ranging from establishing authority to getting opportunities to validating your expertise and so on.
So many people earn a living from blogging only. It is a lucrative one and one you should give a shot.
Below are five reasons why you should start a blog.
1. TO ATTRACT AN AUDIENCE AND ESTABLISH AUTHORITY.
You want to be popular at what you have passion for. Everyone wants to referred to as a good singer, a good writer and so on. Come to think of not having people around to listen to you.
With a blog, you can get to billions of people across the globe. You will always have an audience!
When you start Blogging, you start growing followers which become your audience and inturn becomes your partner or friend or otherwise.
People also get to know you as an expert in that field. If I blog about fashion, people get to know me as a pro and tend to consult me. It takes consistency to get to this level. You can even make money by becoming a consultant in your field.
2. TO BUILD ENGAGEMENT AND CREATE OPPORTUNITIES
As you embark on your blogging journey, I want you to put in mind that your followers will always wantto connect with you. That aside, you are also building engagement between people.
Let's say you are a relationship blogger and someone comments on a post saying girls are the reason for breakups and another one says it is the other way round, you are gradually building engagement.
You also tend to get opportunities. People will want you to come to events and talk about your passion. You may even travel out of your country on a paid trip for a speaking engagement.
You will also get the opportunity to meet new people which will inturn introduce you to new people and the circle goes on and on. You're getting bigger and bigger.
3. TO ORGANIZE YOUR THOUGHTS AND LEARN
Learning is a never ending process. In Cruzz Academy, our motto is 'We teach to learn again.' This is because we believe the more you teach or talk about something, the more you know.
As a blogger, the more you write about a particular thing, the more you know. This is the simple reason why you have to research before writing. You will beat other persons that are in the same niche with you but don't talk about it as often as you do.
Every profession gives room for improvement and they also improve in terms of technology. This will play to your advantage as you will always get first hand information in your area of interest.
4. TO TELL YOUR STORY
One secret... Your followers love your story. Your story is one of the things that will make people love you and want to stick around you.

No matter how hard you try to tell yourself you don't work because of money, you really need the money.
A blog can generate money for you through advertising, sales of products, affiliate marketing and so on.
